settings: Overview, Scan, Backups, Optimize and Advanced Tools. To be
fair, Overview is simply an easier interface where you can select Scan,
Optimize and Advances Tools. Options: It allows you to run the program at Windows startup, automatically check for updates and schedule scans. Scan: This is simply a registry scanner that does exactly that. Just select and de-select what you want it to scan and simply press ''Scan Now'' and away we go. Backup: It allows you to backup your registry and set a system restore point. It gave me an error when selecting system restore point: Class not registered. Optimize: Here you have various tools for optimizing the system, error utilities, history cleaner, junk file cleaner and tweak memory. Advanced Tools: Here you have various Internet Explorer tools to optimize that, block activeX, startup and uninstall manager. The uninstall manager didn't work for me though. Summary: This is a bit cheeky, because this is the exact same program as Registry Easy, but with a worse interface. The results confirmed it too. While Registry Easy got 3657 error, Registry Genius got 3667. The only puzzling thing is that while Registry Easy used 16 minutes, Registry Genius used 25 minutes. It got a lot of errors, but it's painstakingly slow. This makes it the 3rd best registry cleaner.
